Everybody Wins!

Everybody Wins! is the newest Opening Doors for Children program in Miami.  The program teams Holland & Knight volunteers with second graders at Southside Elementary School. 

Each week, Holland & Knight volunteers visit their friends at Southside for an hour of reading one or more books while the students enjoy their lunch.  Volunteers are assigned a specific student so that a relationship can be better formed with each student.

After reading the books to the student, each participant completes a survey with the name of the author, title of the book, and a brief description of why they enjoyed (or did not enjoy) the book!

The students are enthusiastic and eager to learn and look forward to this unique time each week!
